REPRODUCE ARTISTS
REProduce Artists are a creator collective based between New Delhi, India and Halifax, Canada. Over eight years, their pedigree has been premised on showcasing over 500 acts over nearly as many events across the world, all imbued with a DIY approach dedicated to maintaining curatorial control and a distinct vision to put artistic risk taking front and centre. The focus - both irl and online - is to produce events that merge the senses, vulnerability, and all the points where those two elements meet, allowing for that magic balance to tip and spill into a collective memory.
LUSH LATA
A curious mix of old school hip hop, beats, monologues, Baile, Bass, Rnb and trap pack a punch with Lush Lata's set, that borrows from the notion that there is calm before a storm. Madstarbase x Jyotsna Shourie Dance Society
Ancient art forms are the source of inspiration for MadStarBase's and Jyotsna Shourie's Dance Society's latest collaboration.
For the first time ever, MadStarBase and the dancers from Jyotsna Shourie’s Dance Society come together to create a one-of-a-kind, live performance art piece.
MadStarBase fuses traditional Carnatic jathis and shlokas with electronic elements to create a unique score for this Bharatanatyam performance.
This collaboration aims to examine an ancient Indian art form through a modern lens. The approach involves using new age musical elements while keeping the complexity of the dance form untouched to create a refreshing experience.”
